Dr. Farhaad Riyaz, a surgeon from Michigan (standing, far right), chronicled his time with IMR Team Tanzania in October-November 2023. He wanted to donate his skills and fulfill his passion for providing training for local healthcare workers, and came away with an awareness of the deep struggles of the Tanzanian people to receive healthcare.
