Continuing Medical Education

IMR is pleased to be able to offer CME/CEU/CE credits specific to treating patients in a low-resource mobile clinic environment. These courses provide nationally recognized credits for students and all providers – nurses, pharmacists, physicians, advanced practice providers, and EMS.

Courses are also ideal for volunteers interested in learning more about illnesses seen in clinic or for those who are interested in shadowing providers and want to be more prepared.

To receive credits, you will need to complete the courses during your trip. Doing so will also give you a better understanding of how to treat patients in the field.

For physician assistants, your time spent seeing patients in clinic is eligible for up to 50 Category 2 credits annually. All you need to do to obtain credit is submit your hours to your society. We can certify your time if required, but generally we have not found it to be necessary.

To register for continuing education courses, visit our partner, CME Online. If you have any issues or questions while registering, please let us know. Email office@imrus.org or call 970.635.0110.
