Continuing Medical Education
CME Credits
IMR is pleased to be able to offer CME/CEU/CE credits specific to treating patients in a low-resource mobile clinic environment. These courses provide nationally recognized credits for students and all providers – nurses, pharmacists, physicians, advanced practice providers, and EMS.
Courses are also ideal for volunteers interested in learning more about illnesses seen in clinic or for those who are interested in shadowing providers and want to be more prepared.
To receive credits, you will need to complete the courses before your trip. Doing so will also give you a better understanding of how to treat patients in the field.
Courses include:
- Respiratory Illness and Pain Management
- Gastrointestinal Illness
- Wound Care Management
- Scabies
- Chagas
- Dengue Fever
- Yellow Fever Virus
- High Blood Pressure
