JOB DESCRIPTION
International Medical Relief is looking for interns both locally in Denver as well as remote throughout the 50 United States. This is an eight-week, project-based program with making an impact at its foundation. Interns will have the opportunity to choose a focus area for their project, selecting from options in the medical field, executive area, operational department, or communications.
Interns will be responsible for outlining the scope of their project and associated weekly benchmarks. Each week, they will work towards their goals in order to complete a project by the end of Week 8. The minimum weekly engagement requirement is 20 hours, providing interns with 160 hours after the full eight weeks. Most project work will be on the interns’ own time schedules, however, there are a few weekly meetings that will be required for attendance.
