Children can learn at any age about practicing compassion and generosity as they offer hope and kindness to others. Young family members from toddlers through teens can play varying roles in IMR’s mobile medical clinics to fit their target age and maturity.

Non-medical volunteers work side by side with the medical team and build important relationships with community members. Teaching community health education, escorting patients through clinic, documenting the week in photographs, recording statistics, or interpreting for non-English-speaking patients are all critical roles played by volunteers who are not medical professionals.
