This Mission

International Medical Relief is looking for remote interns throughout the 50 United States. This is a 4-week, project-based program with making an impact at its foundation. Interns will have the opportunity to choose a focus area for their project, selecting from options in the medical field, executive area, operational department, or communications.

This internship begins Monday, July 6 and goes until Friday, August 7. Interns will be responsible for outlining the scope of their project and associated weekly benchmarks. Each week, they will work towards their goals in order to complete a project by the end of Week 4. The minimum weekly engagement requirement is 20 hours, providing interns with 80-hours after the full 4 weeks. Most project work will be on the interns’ own time schedules, however there are a few weekly meetings that will be required for attendance. Please look over our Internship “Itinerary” for more details on these requirements.

If you are interested in applying, please click “Apply Online” to provide us with your personal and contact information. Please also send a resume, in addition to an essay answering the following questions, to office@internationalmedicalrelief.org with the subject “Internship Application.”

Essay Questions

  1. As a public health, medical, and sustainable education-focused non-profit, how do you see your interests and skillset aligning with the work we do both domestically and abroad?
  2. What skills are you looking to develop during this internship? What are your goals?

Thank you for your interest! We look forward to reviewing your application. If you have any questions during the application process, please send an email to office@internationalmedicalrelief.org or call our office at (970) 635-0110.
