Overview

This Mission

Colorado State Capitol Health ScreeningsInternational Medical Relief is partnering with the State of Colorado at our state capitol building to provide health screening procedures for legislators and visitors, as well as COVID-19 testing for legislators and staff. You will be provided with appropriate PPE and protective measures will be implemented to reduce risk of infection and keep volunteers safe.

Health Screening

Volunteers will participate in non-touch temperature screening, as well as ask each person a series of screening questions. Once the staff member or guest passes their screening, they will be given a wristband for entrance into the building.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

COVID-19 Testing

Volunteers will be providing rapid-response COVID-19 testing for legislators and legislative staff.

Tuesdays and Thursdays and other selected days from 7:00 am to 10:30 am.

Donations

While the main focus of your $100 donation will be applied toward the mission at hand, your volunteer participation will include background check, credential, t-shirt, and supplies needed to carry out these efforts. If you have volunteered with IMR within the last year in Colorado or on an international mission, you will not be asked to make the $100 donation.

Volunteer without Airfare

Many team members choose to book their flight(s) to and from the mission location independent of IMR. This is a great option if would like to extend your stay in the area to tour and explore, or if the routing from you home airport is more feasible for you. If you choose to fly independently, please note that your transportation in between the airport and the team’s accommodations will not be provided. This will need to be arranged separately.
