Colorado COVID Testing and Health Screenings

This Mission

International Medical Relief is partnering with the State of Colorado at our state capitol building to provide health screening procedures for legislators and visitors, as well as COVID-19 testing for legislators and staff. You will be provided with appropriate PPE and protective measures will be implemented to reduce risk of infection and keep volunteers safe.

Health Screening

Volunteers will participate in non-touch temperature screening, as well as ask each person a series of screening questions. Once the staff member or guest passes their screening, they will be given a wristband for entrance into the building.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

COVID-19 Testing

Volunteers will be providing rapid-response COVID-19 testing for legislators and legislative staff.

Tuesdays and Thursdays and other selected days from 7:00 am to 10:30 am.

Donations

While the main focus of your $100 donation will be applied toward the mission at hand, your volunteer participation will include background check, credential, t-shirt, and supplies needed to carry out these efforts. If you have volunteered with IMR within the last year in Colorado or on an international mission, you will not be asked to make the $100 donation.

Once we have reviewed your application, a member of our team will contact you with the details and learn about your availability.

Lodging/Transportation

If you will be joining the team from out of town and would like assistance with lodging, transportation, and meals, IMR can make this option available to you for approximately $65 per night. Please inquire at office@imrus.org for more information.
