Sokha
The only source of fresh drinking water in Sokha’s village in Cambodia was contaminated with water-borne bacteria. The water left her very sick and unable to attend school. A $100 donation to IMR purchased a water filter for Sokha’s community, saving lives and allowing children like Sokha to go to school, their pathway to a promising future.
Liam
During a checkup at an IMR village clinic in Tanzania, one of IMR’s volunteer doctors discovered Liam had a serious health issue. At a city hospital, he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a serious form of pediatric cancer. IMR was able to pay for Liam’s cancer surgery by way of gifts from IMR donors generously designated for the area of greatest need.
Sophia
Immediately following the August 2021 earthquake that devastated Haiti, IMR volunteers were on the ground tending to the sick and injured with nearly $40,000 in medical supplies purchased using IMR donor funds. Over 45 days, IMR volunteer teams served nearly 3,000 patients in 13 communities, including little Sophia who was injured by falling debris.

For every $1 donated to International Medical Relief, more than $38 in medicines, medical supplies, and medical services are donated to those in need.
International Medical Relief operates with less than 2% administrative and fundraising costs so that more than 98 cents of every dollar is invested directly into our programs.

International Medical Relief collaborates with Corporate Social Responsibility Partners around the world to provide direct relief to communities in need. In-kind donations and services are strengthened through collaborative partnerships enhancing the value added to yield greater impact. Corporate Social Responsibility programs benefit the most underserved and vulnerable communities served by IMR including refugees, indigenous, post-disaster, compromised communities, congregate populations, unhoused, and those suffering with chronic or urgent medical needs.
